Our Team

Wayne is passionate about helping busy entrepreneurs and professionals build generational wealth by offering the opportunity to passively invest in commercial real estate syndications. His company, CREI Partners currently has $50 million in assets under management in Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama.

Based out of Central Texas, Wayne leads the investment lifecycle and investor relations for CREI Partners as the Lead Sponsor and General Partner.

Wayne started his real estate journey while serving in the US Marine Corps. After completing his service as a Marine Corps Corporal in 2007, he started a career with CBRE, a commercial real estate firm, that spanned 16 years before focusing full-time on real estate investments.

With a deep passion for helping others, Shelbi brings a people-first approach to her role at CREI Partners. Holding a degree in Communications and a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University, she combines her understanding of human behavior with strategic communication to build strong investor relationships.

With over two years of experience in social media management, marketing, and public relations, Shelbi excels at connecting with investors, sharing industry insights, and ensuring they feel confident in their investment journey. Her dedication to education and transparency aligns with CREI Partners’ mission to provide opportunities for investors to build long-term wealth through commercial real estate.

As Senior Portfolio Manager at CREI Partners, Will Swenson brings a wealth of experience in asset management, acquisitions, and financial analysis to help drive the firm’s investment strategy and portfolio performance. With over five years in the commercial real estate industry, he specializes in optimizing asset operations, executing business plans, and maximizing investor returns.

Before joining CREI Partners, Will served as an Asset Manager at a multifamily investment and management firm, overseeing a diverse portfolio of more than 6,000 units across the DFW, Nashville, and Knoxville markets. He played a key role in 15 acquisitions totaling $880 million, working closely with onsite teams to implement strategic improvements and capital projects. His background in asset valuations and analytics at Amherst Holdings further enhances his ability to assess investment opportunities and drive data-driven decisions.

Will holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics with a focus on Finance and Real Estate from Texas A&M University. His deep understanding of market dynamics and commitment to operational excellence make him a valuable asset to CREI Partners and its investors.
