Wayne Courreges III, CPM®, Managing Principal
Wayne is passionate about helping busy entrepreneurs and professionals build generational wealth by offering the opportunity to passively invest in commercial real estate syndications. His company, CREI Partners currently has $38 million in assets under management in Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama.
Based out of Central Texas, Wayne leads the investment lifecycle and investor relations for CREI Partners as the Lead Sponsor and General Partner.
Wayne started his real estate journey while serving in the US Marine Corps. After completing his service as a Marine Corps Corporal in 2007, he started a career with CBRE, a commercial real estate firm, that spanned 16 years before focusing full-time on real estate investments.

Courtney Bhenderu, Director of Brand and Investor Relations
Based out of Houston, Texas Courtney leverages her 15+ years of experience in hospitality and commercial real estate to cultivate trust and transparency with investors. By skillfully managing stakeholder relationships, spearheading successful investor events, and upholding the company’s values, she plays a pivotal role in supporting an investor’s journey. Beyond her professional endeavors, Courtney’s passion for travel and cultural immersion translates into a unique understanding of diverse markets and how they align with CREI Partners’ investment focus. Through hosting cross-cultural networking events and fostering entrepreneurial pursuits in her children, she cultivates a global mindset that benefits both her personal and professional endeavors.

Whitney Pierce, Director of Investor Education
As Director of Investor Education, Whitney has enjoyed the opportunity to live her values of continual learning, creative problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making. Whitney has a unique ability to help others understand complex financial concepts. As satisfying as that is, routinely being allowed to geek out with numbers has helped her thrive in the role. To date, her largest project has been designing the curriculum for Passive Investor Coaching alongside Wayne and leading the preparation of the associated materials.
Whitney started the University of North Texas at age 16, living in the dorms before completing high school. She completed her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, at Texas State University in Studio Art with a dual concentration in Painting and Fiber Arts. Her previous roles have been focused on educating small business clients while preparing their annual income tax returns. In 2012, Whitney relocated away from the hustle and bustle of Houston, TX to enjoy a quieter pace of life about an hour north of Austin, TX where her large, blended family and beloved pets are her continual motivation.
